Interpretation
A wise elder advises you to forget your heart’s sorrow and be glad. The gains and losses of the world are fleeting; let neither losing make you sad nor gaining make you proud. Don’t attach your heart to what doesn’t last, for even Solomon’s throne was carried off by the wind. Take the advice of the wise so your life may be long and blessed.
