Tabir-e Khab: dream interpretation

Dream interpretation in Persian culture

Dreams have been interpreted in Iran for centuries. Many families own a khabnameh, a dream book, and at breakfast people tell each other what they dreamt. Typically, some images are read the other way round: crying can mean joy, your own death a long life. Our interpretations sum up this tradition in simple words.

Traditional readings for entertainment, not a prediction and not advice on health or important decisions.
