Tombak تنبک
The tombak (also zarb) is a goblet-shaped wooden drum with a goat or calf skin head. It is played with the fingers and palms and is the main rhythm instrument of classical music. Good players draw an astonishing variety of sounds from it, from deep basses to bright rolls.
