خدا را کم نشین با خرقه پوشانرخ از رندان بی‌سامان مپوشان
در این خرقه بسی آلودگی هستخوشا وقت قبای می فروشان
در این صوفی‌وشان دَردی ندیدمکه صافی باد عیش دُردنوشان
تو نازک‌طبعی و طاقت نیاریگرانی‌های مشتی دلق‌پوشان
چو مستم کرده‌ای مستور منشینچو نوشم داده‌ای زهرم منوشان
بیا وز غَبْن این سالوسیان بینصُراحی خون‌دل و بربط خروشان
ز دلگرمی حافظ بر حذر باشکه دارد سینه‌ای چون دیگ جوشان
Interpretation
Sit less with those who put on a show, and don’t turn away from the sincere. There is much impurity beneath the cloak of pretence. Your beloved is delicate and can’t bear the heaviness of hypocrites. If they have given you joy, don’t give them bitterness. Beware of sanctimonious people. Your breast boils with love like a pot; take care your fire doesn’t burn others.
